Who’s affected?
We are specifically making changes to items that are shared systemwide. This means all Zeeks locations will be affected.
Are customers affected?
No. It will only affect how items print in the kitchen. How items and modifiers appear to customers will not change.
What’s the goal of this change?
Overall, the end result will be tightened up, cleaner tickets in the kitchen. The intended impact is to have less mistakes, and reduce paper and ink usage.
What’s changing?
The changes will affect items and toppings in your primary menu (aka the menu in your Toast backend that says 'Bellevue Menu' or 'Capitol Hill Menu'). Specifically, we are changing items that are targeted and owned by 'Zeeks HQ' in the Toast backend.

Why can’t the entire menu ALL change right now? Can’t you just press a button and have it ripple to all the things? When will all the rest of my kitchen tickets get tightened up?
There are over 54,000 unique items, and 42,000 unique modifiers in our system. This rollout will affect the most commonly used several hundred items and modifiers that appear on kitchen tickets. We will continue to rollout updates store by store to make the kitchen crew's experience consistent and clear at each store.
